The Game revival series at Paramount+ has announced three new main cast members that will be joining original cast members Hosea Chanchez and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Shadow and Act has learned that Adriyan Rae, Vaughn Hebron and Analisa Velez have also joined as series regulars. Rae will be as Brittany Pitts, the daughter of Jason and Kelly Pitts, Hebron will be Jamison Fields, an undrafted free agent and Velez will be Raquel Navarro, Brittany’s best friend.

We also hear legacy cast members Brittany Daniel and Pooch Hall will make special appearances, reprising their roles as Kelly Pitts and Derwin Davis. The 10-episode first season of the new series will stream exclusively on Paramount+.

Mara Brock Akil and Sailm Akil, who were behind the original series, will executive produce. Devon Greggory is the showrunner.

The official description is as follows: "The new series will relocate from San Diego to Las Vegas and will see new players offer a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. The team will tackle racism, sexism, classism and more as they fight for fame, fortune, respect and love—all while trying to maintain their souls as they each play The Game."

The original series, a spinoff of Girlfriends, ran from 2006-2009 on The CW. The first revival ran from 2011-2015 on BET. The original series was a multi-cam sitcom and the first revival was a single-camera, half-hour dramedy. Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Hosea Chanchez, Coby Bell, Brittany Daniel and Wendy Raquel Robinson starred in the original series. Brandy, Lauren London and Jay Ellis joined the cast during the first revival. Mowry and Hall only remained for the first two seasons of the first revival.

Rae last starred in Chicago Med and Hebron currently stars on Tyler Perry's The Oval. Primarily known for her work on stage, Velez starred Billy Porter-directed play, The Purists.
