The second season of Juju needs your support!

The upcoming season is currently crowdfunding via Seed & Spark in partnership with WOC-centric websites The Light Leaks and Women of Color Unite. The first season, featuring three friends who discover they are witches suffering from a generational curse, has already been a hit, and now, the all-female team led by creator Moon Ferguson are ready to take their characters to the next level. As the official description states:

The girls return home to learn about their mystical lineage but to do so each of them must face generational curses that made them flee to begin with. This project shows magic across the African diaspora in a positive light and gives us a refreshing look into sisterhood, culture and history.

“We are a team of women from all races, cultures, countries and more,” the team has written in their inclusion statement. “We pride ourselves on representation and inclusion on-screen and behind-the-camera. We are allies and members of the LGBTQIA community and advocate for women and their sacred spaces. We are our sisters’ keepers.”
