ABC has ordered a pilot for an upcoming show starring Laverne Cox, according to Variety. Elizabeth Banks is attached to executive produce.

According to the report, the show, a one-hour drama currently titled, Spirited, “would follow a fake psychic (Cox) who realizes she can really communicate with the dead. She decides to put her con-woman past behind her and actually start helping people.”

Banks and Cox also had a ABC pilot order for The Trustee, in which Banks executive produced and Cox starred. It was not picked up by ABC.

This would mark a return to broadcast television for Cox, who also starred in the CBS legal drama Doubt with Katherine Heigl and Dule Hill. It was canceled after a brief season.

Cox is most known her her role as Sophia Burset on Orange is the New Black. She is currently nominated for an Emmy for the role.
