Fans will get a look at Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s life in a way they haven’t seen before.

Apple TV+ has announced the upcoming four-part documentary, They Call Me Magic. The docuseries is billed as “an illuminating, holistic look into the life and career” of Johnson. The series is also described as offering fans “a rare glimpse into the incredible real life story of Johnson, who left his mark on history through his work–both on and off the court–and continues to impact our culture today.”

According to the description:

From his humble beginnings in Lansing, Michigan to becoming the global force he is today, “They Call Me Magic” features intimate interviews with Magic, his family, and an all-star lineup, as the docuseries charts the cinematic life of one of the biggest cultural icons of our era.

Johnson has released a teaser video on his social media accounts in conjunction with Apple TV+. On Twitter, he wrote he was “excited” to reveal the teaser to his followers.
