Tamar Braxton is known for having public fallouts with her friends and family from time to time, the same thing could be said in regard to Nene Leakes and her long history of feuds.
The two women are not shy when it comes to calling out a bad friend and have done it before. Braxton once had a falling out with friend and Xscape member Tameka “Tiny “Harris and the two eventually made up. Leakes on the other hand had a falling out with former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey.
When rumors of a fallout between Braxton and Leakes surfaced, people have been wondering why. The “Love and War” singer recently stopped by The Nightcap with Carlos King and didn’t mind sharing just what she was feeling about the situation.
Tamar Braxton and Nene Leakes have been good friends
Over the years, Braxton and Leakes have flaunted their friendship for the world to see. The two have been seen hanging out together, vacationing, and publicly supporting each other during their career highs and lows. Most importantly, the two have been there for each during the rough times, like when Leakes’ husband Greg passed away. Not only did Tamar sing at the memorial, but it seemed as if she was right by Leakes’ side during the terrible time.
It was Braxton who came to Leakes’ defense when people thought she moved on too fast after Greg’s death. It seemed that Leakes was there for Braxton the same way when her sister Traci died.
The singer says she did unfollow Leakes on social media
The ladies seemed closer than ever but someone must have taken a wrong turn on friendship blvd. because the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Braxton has also been posting subliminal messages about unsupportive friends.
Braxton admitted to unfollowing Leakes on Instagram and said that she unfollows people depending on her emotions. "So, I've unfollowed my momma. I unfollowed my sisters. No one is safe. It doesn't mean I don't love you, it doesn't mean I don't mess with you. It just means that I don't want to see it right now whatever you posting."
King then informed Braxton that Leakes unfollowed her too. “So she doesn’t want to see you either sis,” he joked. Braxton responded that she is not sure if Leakes unfollowed her or blocked her, but she doesn’t want any drama or mess. She admitted she loves Leakes and it’s nothing personal.
