The big reveal for Clare Crawley’s replacement, Tayshia Adams, is here. In the new ABC promo, Adams, 30, scans Twitter while dressed in a glamorous gown decorated with tweets and headlines questioning who the new Bachelorette is.

“Were you expecting somebody else?” she asks during the promo.

As fans nation witnessed during the last episode, Crawley exited the competition early after falling for Dale Moss. Crawley and Moss got engaged and left the resort where the season was being filmed.

Adams’ journey will begin next Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC where she’ll pick up where Crawley left off and have several suitors to choose from. She’s making history as only the second Black Bachelorette behind Rachel Lindsay. She previously competed on season 23 of The Bachelor before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise.

In August, sources close to production told People Magazine that Crawley left the show mid-season after catching feelings for one of the contestants, which was later confirmed to be Moss.

“No one else stood a chance,” the source said at the time. “It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Then she said she wanted out.”
