Teaser Trailer For 'The Deuce' Promises A World Of Changes

The first teaser trailer for the second season of HBO’s The Deuce has hit, and fans should take note of the season’s ominous tagline, “Everything has changed.”

With Barry White’s “Let the Music Play” coloring the trailer’s disco feel, viewers will be transported back into 1970s New York during the height of the sexual revolution. James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal are, of course, predominantly highlighted in the trailer, but don’t forget The Deuce has a large black cast, including Luke Cage’s Mustafa Shakir, The Roots’ Tariq Trotter (aka “Black Thought”), Gary Carr, Lawrence Gillard Jr., Method Man, Dominique Fishback, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Natalie Paul, Ngozie Jane Anyanwu, Anwan Glover and Pernell Walker.

The Deuce revolves around twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino as they navigate the porn business. The show, which is also executive produced by Franco, returns to HBO September 9.
