The 10th Annual African American Film Critics Association Awards were held Wednesday night in Hollywood as the group presented trophies to this year’s winners and special honorees.

The ceremony was hosted by Tichina Arnold and presenters and guests included Lakeith Stanfield, Trevante Rhodes, Storm Reid and Salli Richardson-Whitfield. The honorees included Quincy Jones (AAFCA Stanley Kramer Award), Jason Blum (Cinema Vanguard Award) and Aneesh Chaganty (Breakthrough Film Award).  

Awards were presented to the likes of Ryan Coogler (Best Film, Best Director for Black Panther), Barry Jenkins (Best Independent Film for If Beale Street Could Talk), Regina Hall (Best Actress winner for Support The Girls), Amandla Stenberg (Best Breakthrough Performance for The Hate U Give), John David Washington (Best Actor for BlacKkKlansman), Rashida Jones and Alan Hicks (Best Documentary for Quincy)  and more.
