According to his ABC bio, Jones is a traveling nurse recruiter. The 27-year-old hails from Portland, Oregon. His Instagram account boasts his love for fall and winter weather, which makes sense when you live in the Northwest. The Leo is clearly close to his family, with tons of pictures of his family and his friends. He also considers his dog Mac as his best friend.

He has a good gig, knows what he wants in life and in a mate, and apparently shares something in common with the woman he’s vying for. Both Jones and Young love basketball. He calls himself a “self-proclaimed basketball fiend.”

Bachelor Nation’s resident spoiler man Reality Steve thinks so. He posted on Twitter that Brandon is reportedly the runner-up for Michelle Young’s love. Reality Steve alleges that Young doesn’t choose Jones in the end. Instead, Jones will lose to a fellow dog lover, Nate Olukoya. Reality Steve is typically right about season spoilers for The Bachelorette, but only time will tell.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, Young expressed she was initially hesitant to particpate in the show but ultimately decided to.

“I was a little nervous, but once I found out that it was two different seasons, I was here for it,” the teacher noted. “I’m excited that I get to have somebody to bond over with this and share notes as we go. “I really do think that this process works. When you can set down all these outside distractions and really dive in, I think you can learn a lot about somebody. I’m just excited. I’m ready to get started.” Young is the franchise’s third lead of color, coming behind Rachel Lindsay and Tayshia Adams.
