The Black Femme Supremacy Film Fest is once again open for entries!

The two-year-old festival will kick off August 31 and September 1 at the Parkway Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. This year’s theme is “accessibility.”

“W]’re looking for films that show us how your characters grapple with/highlight access,” according to the festival’s release. “Submit your shorts, features, experimental films, music videos, web series and documentaries that are created by Black femme/non-binary filmmakers or starring Black femme/non-binary protagonists.” All films must come with closed caption files and non-English films must have subtitles. All Black femme filmmakers, regardless of ethnicity or nationality, are encouraged to apply.
