A new spinoff of The Challenge is coming to CBS and features a bevy of reality competition stars, including members of The Cookout from Big Brother.

MTV has been having their former reality stars from their hit shows like The Real World, and The Road Rules perform in challenges for years now. In their latest mashup, they have partnered with their sister network of sorts, CBS, to create the ultimate The Challenge show. CBS is no stranger to challenge shows as they’ve had contestants compete in strenuous activities on shows like Survivor and Amazing Race. This new show, The Challange USA, is sure to be extreme.

Details on the show:

The show debuts on CBS on July 6 and will also stream on Paramount+. The original show on MTV, which has continued to air for many years, has contestants compete in physical and mental challenges for a large cash prize. Former reality stars compete in these different challenges in which players are eliminated, and the last one standing is the winner.

CBS has announced a new version of the show featuring CBS reality stars from shows like Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, and Love Island. MTV’s The Challenge was the first reality competition series and is the longest-running reality series in the history of television.

The group of individuals taking place in the challenges will include 'Survivor' winners Tyson Apostol, Ben Driebergen and Sarah Lacina; 'Big Brother' winner Xavier Prather, 'The Amazing Race' winner James Wallington and 'Love Island' winner Justine Ndiba.

In the beginning of the show, the contestants are given $1,000 in their accounts. In every episode, the contestants will face different challenges to earn money for their account. The contestants will randomly be paired up to compete and fight for a chance to stay in the game.

Players will survive the game protecting their accounts and eliminating other contestants while doing their best in the challenges. Strategies are made and alliances are formed, but there will only be one winner to be named champion and take home $500,000. The winner will also win a spot on The Challange: Global Championship, another spinoff coming soon.
