Christoph Waltz looks menacing in the teaser for Prime Video‘s upcoming series, The Consultant, dropping Feb. 24.
The series is based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name, but promises that the story will “unfold in new and unexpected ways.” Like the book, Prime Video‘s adaptation is described as a “twisted, comedic-thriller series that explroes the sinister relationship between boss and employee.” According to the official description:
When a new consultant, Regus Patoff (Christoph Waltz), is hired to improve the business at the App-based gaming company CompWare, employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question … including their lives.
Along with Waltz, the Prime Video series stars Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady and Aimee Carrero. The series is executive produced by Tony Basgallop, who also created the series and serves as showrunner. Matt Shakman, who directs the pilot, will also executive produce with Waltz, Steve Stark and Andrew Mittman. Kai Dolbashian produces.
