The Crown is literally everywhere now.

Whether you’ve heard of the Netflix show because of its recent Awards season nominations, or because of its buzz due to the real royal family’s recent wedding announcement, you’ve probably seen it referenced at some point over the last month.

The show, which began airing in 2016, follows the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century

Actors Claire Foy and Matt Smith were on Watch What Happens Live and when asked about Prince Harry and Suits star Meghan Markle potentially being introduced on the show, they had some ideas.

“It’s probably not going to happen for another five years (Markle and Harry being introduced), so we’d probably have to choose someone who is about 11 or 12,” said Foy.

Smith asked “Who’s that singer who goes out with Justin Bieber?”, to which Cohen said Selena Gomez.

“She’s playing Meghan Markle!” he said, to which Foy responds, “You love Selena Gomez!”

Maybe The Crown stars didn’t think that there are a plethora of biracial actresses out there who could portray Markle? Let’s hope so.
