On the heels of a successful screening in New York at the Urbanworld Film Festival, THE END AGAIN, a short film about a romantic breakup, has been released online

THE END AGAIN is an emphatic reflective portrait of a couple’s joys and falls at the close of their six-year relationship that stars Columbus Short, ("Scandal") opposite his wife, Tanee McCall-Short ("The Losers"). Set to a soundtrack from R&B group The Foreign Exchange, the contemporary romantic drama illustrates the sometimes complex yet nuanced struggles that often accompany breakups as Jane Salmon (McCall-Short) and Joe Maxwell (Short) attempt to reconcile their personal battles of conscience against a love that still remains. The dynamic explores how missed communication, pride and heart-guarding in relationships can lead to unresolved feelings that question whether it’s worth staying or calling it quits.

THE END AGAIN was directed by Crystal C. Roberson and shot in January 2014 over a two-day period in the historic Edgewood neighborhood of Atlanta, GA. THE END AGAIN is a prequel to the forthcoming feature length project entitled OPENENDED, which reunites Joe and Jane for a weekend to mourn the loss of a mutual friend and to confront unresolved feelings.

On September 29, the OPENENDED production team, led by producer Latisha Fortune and writer/producer Felicia Pride, launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise startup funds.
