Morris Chestnut has jumped ship from FOX to NBC.
The trailer for NBC’S upcoming drama The Enemy Within premiered Thursday, and looks to be one worth watching for. In the opening seconds of the clip, Erica Sheperd (Jennifer Carpenter) gets a call from a mysterious man who informs her to his is keeping surveillance on her daughter. He warns Shepherd to give him the names of the four names of the agents following him, or he’ll take her daughter’s life. By making the choice to save her daughter, Shepherd is soon arrested for espionage and conspiracy against America
The Enemy Within is a psychological thriller that sees Shepherd became America’s most notorious traitor. Serving life in a maximum security prison, she is giving an opportunity at redemption by FBI agent Will Keaton (Morris Chestnut), who enlists Sheperd in tracking down a firefly dangerous and elusive criminal.
Raza Jaffrey, Kelli Gardner, Cassandra Freeman and Noah Mills round out the cast. The Enemy Within premieres February 25 on NBC. Check out the first trailer below.
