Sony has moved The Equalizer 2 up a month.

Originally set for September 14, 2018, it’ll now be in theaters on August 10, 2018.

The Antoine Fuqua-directed film will now face off against the Scarface reboot from Universal and a shark movie titled, Meg from Warner Bros. Also Sony’s live-action Barbie movie starring Anne Hathaway will be out that Wednesday on the 8th.

Based on the television series of the same name, it follows Denzel Washington as a retired CIA agent who now is a for-hire justice-seeker for those looking for help rather than the police.

Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo are confirmed to return for the sequel. Moonlight star Ashton Sanders has been cast in a leading role as a character who is a son figure to Washington. Additionally, Narcos star Pedro Pascal will portray a villain.
