More on 'Man on Fire':

Man on Fire starred Washington as a former CIA agent John Creasy who takes the position of a bodyguard for the family of a powerful businessman in Mexico City, played by Marc Anthony, where he forms a bond with his daughter Pita, played by Fanning. When Pita is kidnapped in an insidious plot, Creasy brutally navigates Mexico’s underworld to find the men responsible and bring her home. The film catapulted Fanning into early stardom, kicking off her career with a bang.

Man On Fire definitely showed that Washington definitely had the ability to lead the way in action movies with the Oscar-winning actor now on his third Equalizer film.

The relationship between Fanning and Washington’s characters and their dynamic is what makes the movie special. The upcoming The Equalizer 3 seems like the perfect opportunity to bring the two together again after almost twenty years.
