The episode, “Legacy,” brings viewers into the realm of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre as Latifah’s Robyn McCall partners with an unlikely ally, a master thief named Jessie Cook (Pinkett-Smith).

According to the official description, McCall and Cook join forces at a black-tie event "to recover a valuable painting stolen from a Black family" during the massacre.

In the exclusive clip below, you can see McCall and Cook bring their particular sets of skills to bring justice to the family who has already suffered a lot through the generations. You can also look at some first look images from the episode here.

This is, of course, not the first time Pinkett-Smith and Latifah have worked together, as fans well know. The episode adds to prior projects the two have starred in, including ’90s crime film Set It Off and the recent comedy classic, Girls Trip.

The upcoming episode of The Equalizer airs Sunday, Feb. 27 at 9/8c on CBS and will stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
