Shadow and Act has the exclusive first look at season 2 of The Game revival series on Paramount+ and it confirms the return of several legacy cast members.

The images see stars Hosea Chanchez and Wendy Raquel Robinson with Rick Fox, who played himself in the original series, as well as Barry Floyd, who plays Tee Tee. Original star Coby Bell is also shown to return in season 2 as Jason Pitts after recurring during season 1.

The series’ sophomore season will debut on Dec. 15.

As the official description reads, “The Game offers a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. The team tackles racism, sexism, classism and more as they fight for fame, fortune, respect and love – all while trying to maintain their souls as they each play The Game. The second season doubles the laughs and heightens the drama as the beloved characters and their relationships fight to survive the storms of change they face.”

Robinson, Chanchez, Adriyan Rae, Vaughn Hebron, Analisa Velez and Toby Sandeman star in the series.

The show is executive produced by showrunner and writer Devon Greggory alongside Mara Brock Akil, Salim Akil, Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo of Grammnet NH Productions, Peter O’Fallon, Barry Safchik and Michael Platt.

The series is produced by CBS Studios, Inphiniti Entertainment, Akil Productions and Grammnet NH Productions.

Season 1 of the revival series, as well as episodes from the original series, which aired from 2006-2015 on The CW and BET, are streaming on Paramount+.
