Production has recently wrapped on the upcoming psychological thriller film, The Private eye from filmmakers Jack Cook and Hope Ayiyi. Cook is the director and wrote the screenplay with Santino Ramos and Patrick Roe.

The film, led by Matt Rife and Clare Grant, also includes Jay Reeves (All American, Safety) and Denzel Whitaker (Black Panther) and Elijah Boothe (Luke Cage). Erik Griffin, Eugenia Kuzmina, King Chip, Elliot and Lexy Panterra.

The description: The contemporary neo-noir is a mystery story that takes you on a journey all throughout LA. We follow private investigator Mort Madison (Matt Rife) who’s life is spiraling downward, when a beguiling, slightly familiar woman (Clare Grant) hires him for his most unusual case.

Cook and Ayiyi are producing along with Elliot, Alex Kagianaris, and Boothe via production banners Illusion Islands, Ayiyi Productions, and Frame 12. Mark Berry and Joe Hebeler executive produce.

The film is expected to release in summer 2021.
