Disney+ has announced the premiere date for the second season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.

Created and executive produced by Bruce W. Smith, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and her iconic family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama.

A revival of The Proud Family, which aired from 2001 to 2005, the steamer says that the show season 2 will continue to address culturally specific experiences of the Black community and address universal topics for its second season. Topics include self-worth, interracial dating and Juneteenth. 

Like the original animated series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will see its second season arrive with a bevy of guest stars. Among the list of guest stars slated to appear in season two include Gabrielle Union, Chance the Rapper, Leslie Odom, Jr., Holly Robinson Peete, Normani, Anthony Anderson, Courtney B. Vance and Storm Reid. 

Among the cast members reprising their roles include Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud; Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud; Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud; JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama; Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby; Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer; Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez; Carlos Mencia as Felix Boulevardez; Maria Canals-Barrera as Sunset Boulevardez; Alvaro Gutierrez as Papi; Raquel Lee Bolleau as Nubia Gross; and Marcus T. Paulk as Myron.
