The Quad has been canceled at BET after two seasons.

The cast was led by Peyton Alex Smith, Jazz Raycole, Zoe Renee, Jake Allyn, Michelle DeFraites and Sean Blakemore.

In Season 2, Georgia A&M’s survival as an independent, historically Black university hung in a precarious balance as the driven Dr. Eva Fletcher (Rose) struggled to raise capital for the nearly bankrupt institution and was on the brink of joining Georgia’s large, public and predominantly White university system in order to keep its doors open. The freshman class also dealt with the stress of pledging, hazing, academic probation, post-traumatic stress, hate crime attacks and prescription drug abuse.

Felicia D. Henderson was showrunner and executive producer along with Rob Hardy, who was exec producer. Kevin Arkadie and Mitzi Miller were co-EPs.

Variety first reported the news.
