We told you a few months ago that a reboot of The Twilight Zone was in development from Jordan Peele at CBS All Access.

Now, the network has officially ordered it to series.

It has also been revealed that Simon Kinberg and Marco Ramirez will also be producers.

“Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce to modern audiences,” Peele said in a statement.

“The Twilight Zone’ was a touchstone in my life,” said Kinberg. “The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true, and I’m so thrilled to be doing it with Jordan, Marco and the team at CBS All Access.”

The iconic science-fiction series originally ran on CBS from 1959-1964. There was a revival in the 80s on CBS, and a short-lived one on UPN in 2002. There was a potential anthology reboot in 2012 to be directed by Bryan Singer as well.

This comes as CBS All Access has successfully launched a Star Trek reboot, Star Trek: Discovery, which has been renewed for a second season.
