'The View' Guest Host Jane Coaston Wows Fans As Potential Meghan McCain Replacement: 'A Refreshing Change'

The View fans are loving the newest guest host, Jane Coaston.

Coaston, a Libertarian contributor to ABC News and host of the New York Times podcast The Argument, has won fans with her fairness and welcoming demeanor, a far cry from some of the Republican guest hosts who have provided antgonizing viewpoints on important issues.

Decider reports that Coaston's views on the politicization of vaccines and other political topics led viewers to breathe a sigh of relief about a guest host they could actually agree with. One viewer wrote on Twitter, "The guest host is absolutely correct. If we are going to have a healthy dialogue let's start with some facts. Politicizing a global health crisis is wrong & any administration doing needs to be called out. Folks are still dying from #Covid."

Another wrote how The View "has turned into a more pleasurable experience, even with the new conservative guest hosts," and another wrote, "Jane Coaston is FANTASTIC. @janecoaston you belong at that table full time."

Another viewer also wrote how “fantastic” Coaston was for them, adding, “I’m sincerely appreciative of her contributions on @TheView (And I love all the ladies on the program.) But what fresh air does she bring? All!”

"I know she doesn't fit the [conservative] profile that TV is looking for but @janecoaston is the right age, incredibly versed in politics, and a overall refreshing change from previous hosts," wrote another.

The View is currently trying to find a permanent host to fill the spot left vacant by Meghan McCain. McCain has since talked about her negative experiences on the show. So far, Coaston and Tara Setmayer have become the fans most favorite guest-hosts.
