The View hosts did not mince words when discussing America’s latest sought-after criminal, Anna Sorokin, now that people have seen Netflix’s Inventing Anna.

During Thursday’s episode of The View, the panel shared their thoughts on faux German heiress and the many fans she’s attracted ever since Netflix’s Inventing Anna was released.

While serving time in prison for a long list of crimes, including forgery and grand larceny, Sorokin has gained a ton of attention from admirers, which she talked about during a recent appearance on the popular podcast, Call Her Daddy.

uring the episode, Sorokin, who is currently being detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, shared that she’s received “more marriage proposals” than ever since Inventing Anna was released.

As reported by Decider, during the episode, Sorokin, who is currently being detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, shared that she’s received “more marriage proposals” than ever since Inventing Anna was released. She also revealed that even in jail, she has fellow prisoners tending to her every whim, paying some people to do her laundry.

Talk about celebrity status!

'The View' hosts are not fans of Anna Sorokin

Kicking off their discussion on the fake German heiress, Ana Navarro joked that anyone who is willing to marry Sorokin should be prepared to be treated more like a worker than a life partner.

“I want this chick nominated for a Best Actress Oscar,” Navarro said. “She’s in jail, and she’s treating people like doodoo. If you wanna marry this woman, just be ready! Because you’re a masochist, and she’s gonna treat you like a minion.”

Fellow guest host Alyssa Farah pointed out that there is a long list of criminals who have been objects of people's affections.

“There’s like a long and proud tradition of people in jail marrying,” Farah noted. “Like Charles Manson at one point did. Even Elizabeth Holmes, who I believe is on house arrest, got married and had a baby in jail. It’s a fetish some folks have I think.”

Sunny Hostin quickly interjected, sharing her confusion over people’s fascination with Sorokin despite the crimes she has committed.

“[Sorokin] swindled people, friends, out of thousands and thousands of dollars,” Hostin pointed out. “This is someone that has the lowest moral characte. And to have someone propose, it’s a sickness.

Like Hostin, Farah also doesn’t understand the attraction people have over Anna Sorokin.

“These are the people we should be deporting,” Farah said.

“I don’t love that Anna Delvey is making money off of this series,” she added. “She defrauded banks, she committed check fraud, she stole from her friends. I don’t love that for her.”

Whoopi Goldberg had the final word on the matter

Not wanting to spend any more time talking about Anna Sorokin, co-host Whoopi Goldberg wrapped up the discussion by sharing her thoughts on the German scammer.

“If people are really upset about people who have been here too long or maybe didn’t get here ‘the right way,’ let’s start removing the ones that you catch who you can’t tell [are criminals] walking down the street,” Goldberg said. “I can’t even talk about this broad. I’m done.”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
