Sara Haines is responding to trolls who hijacked a photo on Instagram that she posted of herself and Whoopi Goldberg.

In an Instagram post, The View panelist and former Good Morning America host Sara Haines shared a photo, depicting herself and fellow panelist and EGOT winner Goldberg, smiling for a selfie.

“This just popped up and warmed my heart,” Haines wrote in her caption. “That’s my Whoops!!!!”

However, with every social media post usually comes trolls waiting in the wings.

Haines would later receive criticism from trolls for her Instagram post, but issued a swift response right back.

“I’d like to invite people trolling the post to go play somewhere else,” she wrote. “To learn from a moment is all we can ask of anyone. And prioritizing punitive measures at the expense of the message/issue (and teaching moment) are misguided.”

The social media post came after Goldberg was placed on two-week suspension from The View in the wake of comments she made regarding the Holocaust.

“If you’re going to do this, let’s be truthful about it,” she said. “The Holocaust isn’t about race. It’s not about race. It’s about man’s inhumanity to man.”

Goldberg’s remarks drew mixed reviews on social media, with some chastising her remarks and others viewing her opinion as correct.

Goldberg later issued an apology on her Twitter page.

“On today’s show, I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race but about man’s inhumanity to man.’ I should have said it is about both,” Goldberg wrote on Twitter. “As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi systematic annihilation of the Jewish people — who they deemed to be an inferior race.’ I stand corrected.”
