In the latest political debate on the long-running ABC daytime talk show The View, the panelists – Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines and guest co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin – devoted focus on The Senate Project, a series of debates between senators with opposing political views set to air on Fox Nation.

The first debate is slated to kick off between Bernie Sanders and Lindsey Graham.

Safe to say, 'The View' panelists had a lot to say about the former debating the latter.

While Haines and Griffin liked the idea of a debate between politicians on opposite aisles of the political spectrum, Behar was not in favor of the idea.

“Lindsey is one of these people like Kellyanne [Conway] and maybe Mark Meadows and [Mike] Pence,” said Behar.

The long-running panelist on The View, called out Graham’s blind devotion to former President Donald Trump.

She said, “You lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. Did they really think that this psychopath, this sociopath that was in the White House for four years would not turn on all of them like that?”

Behar further commented that Bernie Sanders debating Alyssa Farah Griffin is like “Barack Obama debating Tomi Lahren.”

Hostin agreed with Behar’s point. “Exactly. I mean, Tomi Lahren — it’s just not a fair fight there,” she said. However, Goldberg pointed out that the debate between Sanders and Graham is not a fight, but is intended to be a discussion.
