Sunny Hostin and Michelle Tafoya go head-to-head on the latest episode of The View regarding Colin Kaepernick.

Tafoya, who is a guest host on the show, talked about Kaepernick as the conversation geared towards Netflix show Colin In Black & White. According to Hollywood Life, she brought a quote from Kaepernick’s Ebony interview with Hostin, in which Hostin wrote, “He loves the sport, but the white owners have prevented him from doing it. They’ve colluded, and they have the power to prevent him from doing the one thing he loves.”

“If they believe he could win them a Super Bowl, he would be on a team right now. I promise you that,” said Tafoya. She also told Hostin to be careful about accusing NFL owners of colluding against Kaepernick.

Hostin argued, "He lost everything because of the stand he took [protesting police brutality by taking a knee on the football field during the National Anthem] and there is no owner in the NFL to this day that has the courage to take him back."

Tafoya replied, “I know my stuff too on this,” saying that teams “have tried him out, and he didn’t lose everything.”

“In fact, I would say he gained a whole lot. He is now the leader of a movement. He’s got a Netflix series. He’s got Nike endorsements.”

Hostin said that despite this, he’s still not back at the NFL, with Whoopi Goldberg adding that the reason the NFL won’t rehire him is a “BS reason.”

“People feel that they saw what the big picture was, and I think a lot of people didn’t like it,” Goldberg said in response to Tafoya saying that she felt that “there’s still a lot to this story that we don’t know.” Hostin also added that she feels that “there are people playing in football that aren’t as good as [Kaepernick].”

Tafoya also told the audience to “bring it on” after they groaned at some of her comments.

“Oh, you’re all gonna groan at me,” she said as reported by The Daily Beast. “Bring it on! Bring it on!”

Tafoya has been causing a stir on The View during her guest-hosting stint, causing an argument with Hostin and Goldberg earlier this week about critical race theory.
