The Wendy Williams Show has achieved new heights under a certain guest host.

The Wrap reports that the show has earned its highest ratings this season under Sherri Shepherd’s guest hosting stint. The week’s ratings were a 0.9, one point higher than the 0.8 rating from its premiere week.

Shepherd’s success falls in line with fans who want Shepherd to keep hosting the show after Michael Rapaport didn’t hit it off with audiences. The ratings also reflect how well the series has been doing without Williams as host.

Williams has given fans an update on how she's doing since her departure, due to ongoing health issues, including Graves disease and a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

“HOW YOU DOIN’? I MISS YOU ALL! As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m making progress but it’s just one of those things that’s taking longer than we expected. I’m a woman of a certain age, an di know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready.”

She also wrote thanks to her staff and guest hosts, as well as Debmar-Mercury “and our stations for being so understanding and supportive while I work my way back.” She also thanked the fans, saying “I have heard your prayers and comments and feel all the love! You are everything to me.”
