The Amazon original anthology series, Themwas a hit with viewers, according to the latest Nielsen streaming ratings.

Nielsen reports that Them was the second most-watched original program during the week of its release.

The series was especially popular with Black audiences and was the most viewed program (minutes-wise) among the SVOD Top 10 for Black homes.

60 percent of Them‘s viewership was driven by Black households. In comparison to the top streaming performance of that week, Netflix’s original film Thunder Force, only one-fifth of that film’s audience was Black.

Thunder Force topping the chart overall tracks out with Netflix stating that the film was moving toward a viewership of 52 million in its first month.
