Call it the "Think Like A Man $100 million" watch.

As of this weekend, the surprise rom-com hit of the year has raked in $90.3 million ($325,000 this weekend), playing on 287 screens currently, about half of last week's number.

Will it get to $100 million domestically? At this rate, likely not, although producer Will Packer and the Rainforest Films team can celebrate the highest grossing film in their library thus far! And even if it didn't make another dime, Think Like A Man is undoubtedly 2012's surprise success of the year. It didn't make the gazillions of dollars The Avengers and Hunger Games each made, but I'd say that it's one of the most profitable films of the year, when looking at the budgets for all the top grossing films so far in 2012. I'm sure Sony/Screen Gems is pleased.

It's certainly one of the highest grossing films ever with a predominatly black starring cast.

It's foreign box office as of today is at $1.7 million (all of it from South Africa, according to Box Office Mojo) bringing its worldwide gross to just over $92 million. No word on what other countries it might have a theatrical run in.

Meanwhile… the Omar Sy starrer, The Intouchables, added 27 more screens this past weekend, bringing its total to 77; it made $385,000 this weekend, bringing its total Stateside gross to just over $1 million. Although, its foriegn box office sits at almost $350 million, so the cash its earning now here in the USA is really just icing on the cake; plus it introduces Omar Sy to a whole new audience, which might mean even more opportunities for the French actor/comedian.

One could also say that this USA release is really just early marketing for Stateside remake that The Weinstein Company is planning, which Colin Firth is said to already be attached ot star in.
