This Is Us left us with Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) moving to Philadelphia for their respective careers. But will the move help Randall and Beth’s relationship?

Brown and Watson spoke to TVLine about the upcoming storyline. Brown. in particular, said that the family will be welcomed “[f]airly well” in their new neighborhood. “Being a councilman, Randall goes out of his way to make a good connection to the community. He’s really excited to be a neighbor and to be a good councilman and to form relationships with the people he’s supposed to be representing,” he said.

However, the move might still give Randall and Beth some problems with their relationship, with Brown saying, “There may be things that happen in the future where there could be some potential hiccups. But we start off in a good place.”

Watson said that the couple’s daughters Tess, Annie and Deja “will have some acclimating to do.” Not just with their new school, but with their new home, which “is smaller than what we’re used to.”

The fourth season of This Is Us will debut September 24 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
