With over $185 million grossed domestically in its opening weekend and its soundtrack album The Gift receiving universal acclaim, it is safe to say that Disney’s CGI reboot of The Lion King is another one for the ages.

Back when the promo photo of the movie came out featuring the entire cast, it was a conspiracy theory on social media that Beyoncé wasn’t actually at the photoshoot. Now, her co-star, John Oliver is sounding off about sharing a photoshoot with the singer-actress….and turns out she wasn’t there.

In an interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Oliver, who voices Zazu in the film, revealed that the official cast photo edited in Beyoncé, the voice of Nala, who wasn’t present for the photoshoot.

“Yeah, she wasn’t there,” Oliver told Colbert. Oliver, who is the host of the HBO show Last Week Tonight, made light of the photo.

“If you look at my face, I look really intimated,” he continued. “And that’s because what I’m doing is imagining that I’m about to be put into a photo with Beyoncé.”
