Marvel Studios has dropped the first full-length trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder.

The trailer’s release follows the release of a teaser trailer that dropped last month.

The film also stars:

Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, Tessa Thompson (King Valkyrie), Taika Waititi (Korg) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster).

The movie is directed by Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.

Gorr the God Butcher is shown for the first time in this trailer and he is shown to go head to head with Thor, Mighty Thor and Valkyrie. The trailer is also the first appearance of Russell Crowe’s Zeus.

Here's the new, official description:

The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a search for self-discovery. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

The film hits theaters July 8.
