Tracee Ellis Ross has inked an overall deal with ABC Signature Studios. The deal is under her production company, Joy Mill Entertainment It keeps the black-ish star within the Disney/ABC fold, where she stars in black-ish and produces, narrates and co-created its spinoff, mixed-ish. ABC Signature also produces the other black-ish spinoff, grown-ish at Freeform, and is the studio behind the third spinoff in development, old-ish.

As an executive producer, I am able to build stories, gather creatives and shape worlds as a way to illuminate different realities. This deal continues my journey as a storyteller and content creator. I am thrilled to finally be sharing the news and expanding this part of my artistry at my home studio, ABC Signature. Jonnie Davis, Tracy Underwood, and their team have been incredible collaborators, and I am eager to continue our shared journey.”

Other projects from Ross include the Daria spinoff, Jodie, which she is producing and starring in for Comedy Central.
