BET has set the launch of its new original film franchise, with the first film being We Belong Together. 

The film stars Charles Malik Whitfield, Draya Michele and Elise Neal.

It premieres on Saturday, July 28 at 8 PM ET/PT on BET and BET Her.

Here’s the official description: After years of separation, Thomas (played by Charles Malik Whitfield), a loving father and ex-husband, rekindles his relationship with his former wife, Megan, played by Elise Neal. This enrages Tracy (Draya Michele), who is obsessed with making Thomas hers and wants his ex out of the picture. How far will Tracy go to make sure Megan and her family disappear forever?

The film is executive produced, written and directed by Chris Stokes. Marques Houston is the film’s co-producer and writer.
