Paramount Pictures has revealed the release date of the new Transformers movie. The upcoming film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and will star Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback in the lead roles.

The title, Transformers: Rise of The Beasts, was initially announced at a kick-off event and conversation featuring Caple, Ramos, Fishback and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

The logline is as follows: Returning to the action and spectacle that first captured moviegoers around the world 14 years ago with the original Transformers, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.

The film is executive producced by Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, and Valerii An. Producers are Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, Duncan Henderson. Additional casting will be announced at later date.

Ramos is coming off of Warner Bros.’ In the Heights while Fishback is coming off of Warner Bros.’ Judas and the Black Messiah.

The film has a release date of June 24, 2022.
