Comedian and late-night host Trevor Noah played a role in Black Panther, and we’re pretty sure you probably didn’t know this until you started reading this article.

Unless you reviewed the Black Panther credits in detail, it was a mystery that Trevor Noah voiced the artificial intelligence system Griot in the Wakandan ship driven by Martin Freeman during the war spurred by Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) vs. T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman).

Noah never spoke publicly about his role in the movie, but once you re-watch the scene, it is clear that the voice is Noah’s.
