TV One is feeling the spirit and has put up their Christmas tree with two new original movies for the holiday season.

Erica Ash and Redaric Williams lead the cast in Miss Me This Christmas as the “perfect couple” Regina and Franklin. Viewers will follow the story of the recently married pair that celebrated a fairytale Christmas wedding three years ago and seemed to have it all.  Yet, now their marriage is on the rocks. Depressed and ready to drink her way through the holidays, Eva Marcille joins the cast as Regina’s free-spirited best friend Trish McDonald. To cheer her up, the sneaker empire heiress drags Regina off to her place, a luxurious suite at The Chesterton. Franklin still loves Regina and wants to reconcile. But, when Regina accepts a hasty marriage proposal from millionaire tech entrepreneur Ulysses Danburg, Franklin fears he’ll never win her back.  Fortunately, there may be a happy ending after all. And just in time for Christmas.

Miss Me This Christmas premieres Sunday, December 3 at 7 p.m. ET. It also stars Allen Maldonado and Nathan Davis, Jr.

You Can’t Fight Christmas stars Brély Evans and Andra Fuller. The story begins with the annual holiday decorating of the Chesterton Hotel by interior design expert Leslie Major. She is hard at work managing the transformation when she meets and develops a crush on the hotel owner’s handsome grandson, Edmund James. Soon she discovers that Edmund and his uptight business partner, Millicent, have secret plans. Scheming Millicent also has plans for Edmund that involve a wedding ring. Viewers will have to tune in to learn more about the outcome of the secret plans each character has for the other. It also stars Persia White, Marla Gibbs and Richard Gant.

Both movies are set at the fictional Chesterton Hotel and produced by Sean Dwyer and Elizabeth Cullen of Poke Prod, LLC, touching similar themes like family generational wealth, black love, and career with a Christmas backdrop. With the duplicate fictional hotel setting, there will be cross-over appearances in You Can’t Fight Christmas by Miss Me This Christmas’ Ash and Davis Jr.

You Can’t Fight Christmas is premiering Sunday, December 10 at 7 p.m. ET.

Both films will also be featured programming during TV One’s Holiday Movie Marathon on December 24-25.
