Love Jones was recently rebooted as a stage play, and now, another cult classic is heading to the stage as well.

Writer-director Je’Caryous Johnson is adapting the 2001 film, Two Can Play That Game, into a stage play. The film originally starred an ensemble cast featuring Vivica A. Fox, Morris Chestnut, Anthony Anderson, Tamala Jones, Bobby Brown, Mo’Nique, Gabrielle Union and more.

Fox will reprise her role from the film, for the stage play, joined by Columbus ShortPorsha WilliamsGary DourdanCarl Payne, RonReaco Lee, Cocoa Brown and R&B singer Vivian Green.

The stages play’s description is as follows, When it comes to matters of the heart, Shanté Smith (Vivica A. Fox) is so adept at navigating the waters of romance that her girlfriends look to her for relationship advice. But soon, Shante’s own relationship becomes the example when her boyfriend, Keith (Columbus Short), is caught red-handed stepping out with his co-worker and her archrival, Conny (Porsha Williams). However, when Shanté institutes a plan full of tricks and games to get Keith to act right, he, with the help of his friend Tony (Carl Payne), fire back with a quickness, letting Shanté know that Two Can Play That Game”.

This is yet another project on the ever-busy Fox, who is starring in an upcoming film with Short, in his first major role in Scandal. Lee has starred in LeBron James’ critically-acclaimed Starz comedy, Survivor’s Remorse, since 2014. Brown starred in Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse, which just wrapped up.

 The stage play kicks off a 13-city run in October.
