Uzo Aduba To Star As A Gay Southern Sheriff In CBS Studios' 'Low Country' Under A New Deal

Uzo Aduba is now in the producing game.

According to Deadline, Aduba and CBS Studios have agreed to a multi-year producing deal. One of the projects under the deal is Low Country, which Aduba will executive produce and star in.

As the outlet reports, the project is a drama from The Good Wife and Evil duo Robert and Michelle King, written by Evil and Your Honor writer Dewayne Jones, and will be shopped to premium cable and streaming networks soon. Also producing is King Sized Prods.' Liz Glotzer.
