VH1 stays in the Mona Scott-Young business, officially announces 'Love & Hip Hop: Miami' & cast members

VH1’s hit franchise Love & Hip Hop is heading the 305 with the series premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Miami. The series will premiere this  January.

It will follow a brand new cast of celebrities and musicians.

They include:

Trina - One of the biggest female rappers of our time, preparing for her highly anticipated album, The Diamond Princess. She is forced to "balance her unpredictable family with the demands of her hectic music career."

Trick Daddy - Rapper and "self-proclaimed "Mayor of the 305," finishing his latest project and dealing with "his divorce from estranged wife."

Pleasure P: R&B singer reuniting with former group Pretty Rickey, dealing with "tension between the group," his girlfriend Shay Johnson and "a surprise visit from a former flame."

Gunplay & Keyara - Rapper Gunplay and his girlfriend Keyara venture to Miami to start over.

Amara La Negra - "a multi-talented Latina force of nature ready to cross over to American mainstream music charts."

Veronica Vega - aspiring singer with an "unapologetic approach."

Young Holywood - producer and "pioneer of the Latinx trap movement."

Prince - party promoter in South Beach

Steph Lecor - opened for Calvin Harris and Ariana Grande, signed to DJ Khaled's label.

Jojo Zarur - a celebrity stylist

Bobby Lytes - first cousin of Trina and aspiring rapper
