VH1 has greenlit My Celebrity Dream Wedding after the success of its special of the same name.

The 20-episode series will star wedding planners Courtney Ajinca, Lance Devereux and Tori Williams will pitch their ideas for celebrity-style weddings for ordinary couples on a budget. The planners will also provide viewers with DIY tips on how to make their weddings look and feel as expensive as a celebrity’s.

The planners will be inspired by weddings like Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade, NeNe Leakes and Gregg Leakes, Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley, Yandy and Mendeecees, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and others.

The series is produced by eOne’s Tara Long, Mark Herwick, Madison Merritt, Benjamin Megargel, Meredith Kisgen and Amy Callahan. Diana Morelli and Tolani Holmes are the series’ executive producers.

My Celebrity Dream Wedding is the ultimate wedding competition. Based on the proposed visions for the big day, the brides select their favorite planner as the winner to now lead the production of their wedding, while the others are demoted to assistant status. The planners then collaborate to execute everything from the dream ceremony to the show stopping reception.

The series debuts Jan. 3, 2022 on VH1.
