Couples Retreat is back, this time with Michael Blackson and his fiancee Rada bringing their celebrity couple friend group together for some much-needed therapy.
On a tropical island, AJ Johnson and John Salley with force each couple to confront their issues and figure out where their relationship is going, if anywhere. There will be many tears, smiles, jokes, and fights this time around. The season premieres on VH1 next Monday, May 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Here’s what to expect from each couple this season:
Ronnie and Shamari DeVoe
The couple have been together for 20 years and married for four. Though they live by the #Married4Life, their marriage nearly ended after trying out an open marriage for several years. Shamari detailed the tough period during her one-season stint on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Through marital counseling, they were able to push through. Now, the longtime couple are parents to four-year-old twin boys but admit the spark in their relationship is stale due to their busy touring schedules and parenting.
Nick Young and Keonna Greene
Together since they were teenagers, the former cheerleader and high school basketball standout turned NBA champion are the typical high school sweetheart scandals. But 20 years and three children later, they have yet to jump the broom, despite being engaged for two years. Infidelity has plagued their marriage, with Young’s highly publicized relationship and engagement with rapper Iggy Azaela. The engagement ended when she caught Young and Greene at their home. Greene has fought to keep their relationship together. Now that Young is no longer playing, she wants more for herself. She’s back in school and the couple admits they are practically roommates.
Claudia Jordan and KJ
The FOX SOUL television personality is known for being outspoken and brash at times. She’s been with her boyfriend, a realtor named KJ, for three years. They both say romance is missing from their love. Now at a certain age, Jordan wants marriage and a family. KJ is already a father and doesn’t want children…with Jordan.
Styles P and Adjua Styles
Unlike most rappers, Styles P never hid his lady. The couple have been married for 26 years. They work together, owning lifestyle brands and juice bars throughout New York. They admit work has taken over their marriage. After the tragic death of their daughter, Styles P has had trouble bouncing back. But they are determined to stand the test of time.
Jess Hillarious and Daniel
The Baltimore funny girl and Daniel have been together for under a year, but Jess says she’s in love. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get the level of affection she yearns for from her partner, nor the support, with Jess complaining that Daniel has yet to make one of her stand-up comedy shows. There’s trouble in paradise already and they should be within the honeymoon phase of their relationship this early on. Can Couples Retreat be the saving grace they need?
