VH1's 'Dear Mama' Nabs Halle Berry + More

Halle Berry, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Robin Thicke, Maxwell and DJ Khaled are all set to headline VH1’s annual Mother’s Day TV event, “Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms,” which is set to air on Monday, May 8, at 10pm ET/PT.

Berry give a distinct honor to a mother from the non-profit domestic violence organization called the Jenesse Center. Based in Los Angeles, Jenesse Center Inc. is a nationally recognized non-profit domestic violence prevention and intervention organization that helps transition abuse victims into stable and safe environments.

Blige will be in attendance to honor her mother Cora Blige. In addition, VH1 will also premiering Blige’s new documentary “Strength of a Woman: An Album Documentary” timed with the release of her eponymous album. The film will give fans a close and intimate behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new album with studio footage and exclusive interviews with Blige.

Ludacris will be in attendance at VH1’s annual event and will honor his mother, Roberta Shields.

Rowland, Thicke, Maxwell and Khaled will help spread love to mothers everywhere with special tributes.

“Dear Mama” airs Monday, May 8th at 10 PM ET/PT.
