The upcoming Netflix feature starring Sandra Bullock has added top tier stars in Viola Davis and Rob Morgan.
The duo joins Bullock in the film that will be directed by Nora Fingscheidt and written by Oscar-winner Christopher McQuarrie. The untitled film is based on Unforgiven, a 3-part British miniseries. It will follow “a woman (Bullock) as she attempts to re-enter society after being released from prison.”
Davis is finishing up her long-running ABC drama, How to Get Away with Murder and her next films include The Suicide Squad sequel and another Netflix film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. She also stars in Amazon’s Troop Zero, due on Prime Video in January.
Morgan, no stranger to Netflix appearing in multiple Marvel series, Stranger Things and Dee Rees’ Mudbound, can be seen soon in Just Mercy. Earlier this year he was in The Last Black Man in San Francisco and in February will be in Stella Meghie’s The Photograph.
