Viola Davis is aware of How to Get Away with Murder fans talking about her iconic walk.

According to Black Enterprise, she shared a video on Instagram about how people have talked about her walk. Part of the video featured Davis speaking at a PaleyFest panel about portraying Annalise Keating like a “real woman.”

“If I can be a real woman, if I don’t have to walk around in heels,” she said, before looking at the camera to reference people’s jokes. “I know y’all talk about me walking in my heels. And that’s a little f—-d up of y’all, but I get it.”

The rest of the video featured TikTok clips of people imitating Davis' walk with the caption, "I see y'all."

Her ability to find the light in the jokes allowed other people to respond with their own videos, which took off on Twitter.

Other fans have also given Davis her props for her portrayal of Keating.

“It was one of Ms. Keating’s charm[s]!” wrote one fan. “One of my favorite characters on TV. Thank you so much for bringing her to life whether she had a bad walk[,] a good walk[,] or just a unique walk.”

“I loved Annalise’s walk!” wrote another. “Everything about it said it meant business. It said, ‘I’m not sashaying, I’m in court slaying!'”

Davis will be seen next in the drama The Woman King, starring opposite Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, and John Boyega.
