Rapper and viral social media star Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High has just inked a major deal with Nickelodeon. High, 13, will work with the network to “develop original multiplatform programming, music initiatives, and build a cross-category consumer products business.”

The goal is for her to develop “content for all Nickelodeon platforms, supporting her music career and an exclusive line of consumer products with merchandising agreements spanning categories such as fashion, accessories, publishing and more.”

The Houston-born High has gained prominence over the past few years for her viral rap videos. She has over 1 million followers on Instagram and has appeared on television several times. She became the youngest female rapper to sign a record deal at age 11, when she signed with Empire, resulting in her own imprint, Fresh Rebel Muzik.

“I’m so excited to be joining the Nickelodeon family!,” said High in a statement. “I grew up watching Nick and this opportunity is seriously a dream come true. I have the best fans in the world, and I can’t wait to take them on this journey with me.”
