Watch a Zombie Krump Himself Into Self-Awareness in Fun Short Film, 'We Together'

Check out the below fun, fresh and funny short film from LA-based writer/director Henry Kaplan titled “We Together,” which is really a short film/music video hybrid.

“The film is ultimately about re-discovering who you really are,” the filmmaker said in an interview with our friends at the Short of the Week website. “The initial impetus of this film was an image I had stuck in my head: a zombie krumping all over the place, with several other zombies standing around him, looking confused. I eventually realized that what I loved about this image was that it raised so many questions about who this dancing zombie is and why he’s doing it. I used those questions as a springboard to write the film.”

It certainly doesn’t unfold entirely as you’d expect your typical zombie film to. It’s not exactly a complex narrative, but it feels fresh and I enjoyed watching it on a somewhat groggy Thursday. Maybe you will as well.

Watch it below with a warning: there are a few graphic images that might be NSFW, or your stomach:
