Here’s a series that I REALLY need to catch up on. And now that I know the most recent season is available for *FREE* on Hulu, I have even fewer excuses for not doing so – especially since, the few folks I know who’ve seen it all (both season 1 and 2) tell me that it’s a solid series, despite familiar *urban* themes of drugs, gangs and violence (but in a different setting).

I’ve also heard/read comparisons made to The Wire.

Thanks to strong audience response, and critical acclaim after the first season, the UK’s Channel 4 ordered a second season of the 4-part drama/thriller miniseries Top Boy, which stars Ashley Walters.

Season 2, which aired in the UK last fall/autumn, is now available to Stateside audiences, thanks to Hulu. It also comprise of 4 episodes, just like season 1, which, by the way, is also available on Hulu.

We can all now catch up on the series, by doing some binge watching over the weekend, starting from the first season, through the second.
